About Contest:
Are you a looking for a fun place to show off you crafting skills? We are excited to announce that Harbor Game Con will be hosting a cosplay contest this year.
Contestants will be divided into 2 age groups. Youth will be 12 and under and adult 13+. Prizes awarded to top 3 in each age group. A panel of Judges score will score on overall craftsman's ship and originality. During competition each contestant will be asked a question about their cosplay while on stage.
Prizes will consist gift certificates from local sponsors.
Keep in mind that this will be a family friendly event, so costumes should be family appropriate. If using store bought costumes at least a percentage must be altered or added onto by the wearer.

About Game:
Ten thousand kilometers outside the gravity well of the primary star, the inky blackness suddenly folded, and in a twist of light and gravity, a small scout ship emerged from jump space. A dim light flickered through the cockpit view port as the pilot made crosschecks and sensor sweeps. The maneuver drive began pushing the ship toward the green and blue orb of Tarsus, toward sadness, toward danger...toward home.
Join me for the classic science-fiction role playing game, Traveller, using the rules from the 80's where death could await even in the character creation process! In the Tarsus campaign, we will strive to find the culprits behind the murderous intrigue of local and interstellar politics and commerce.

The title will be Trouble Brewing. In this town an imp has hidden among the townsfolk and will kill one person each night. During the day the townsfolk must unmask this demon by asking questions of each other. The townsfolk will then decide if someone should be executed that day. Day and night will continue until either the imp is executed or there is only one townsfolk left.

This is part 1 of a 2 part adventure.
Something dark festers in the forest of Buckland. As the Enemy grows in power far to the east, those that would see ill of Middle Earth do not rest. This new threat not only endangers The Shire and Bree, but potentially could become an agent of the Enemy if turned away from blindly. A fellowship must be gathered so that it may present this danger to the lord of Bree. Who is brave enough to risk it all and have their tale echo in eternity?

About Game:
You are an (involuntary) part of the Hylix Ventross Research and Development Testing Program! Hopefully you will survive the tests and come out on top!
You will each be playing 4 members of a testing group collected by Hylix-Ventross Technologies Incorporated, and to survive and escape, you'll need to think smart and break the rules that HVT has set before you.
This is a meat grinder style of game meaning that your characters are very liable to die, and only 4 characters or so are expected to survive this ordeal.

About Event:
This year’s board game library will be curated and hosted by our awesome volunteer Jef. He will be bringing popular games that are often requested for the public to learn and play.
You will have the option of either checking the game out and playing while at the convention or you can request that a game be added to the schedule. Volunteers Jef, Nick, and Julie will be on hand to assist with setting these games up and teaching newcomers how to play.
If a game is added to added to the schedule other attendees can sign up to join the game, until the maximum number of players is met.

Welcome to Quedlinburg, where the best miracle doctors and quack surgeons from all the Crossland gather to brew there, concoctions against smelly feet, homesickness, hiccups, and relationship woes. Every quack has their own special brew they hope will make them the best miracle doctor in the land!
The Quacks of Quiddelenburg is a strategic push your luck game, where each player draws from their potpourri of ingredients, until they think that their own special blend is just right, but be careful: a few too many special ingredients, and a whole potion could blow up in your face! Do you stop early to improve your chances of making a better potion later that will win the day, or do you risk a big setback in order to get more money and fame now? Finding the right balance between risk and reward is key!

About Game:
Players take on the role of a survivor amid city streets sprawling with Zombies. Movement is determined by dice roll as is combat when the player's piece is in the same square as a Zombie. Players must conserve bullets and protect their life counters. At the end of the turn a dice roll directs the player to move a number of Zombies one square (because they are the slow George Romero type).

What hue do you think of when we say “apple”? Hues and Cues is a vibrant game of colorful communication where players are challenged to make connections to colors with words. Using only one and two-word cues, players try to get others to guess a specific hue from the 480 colors on the game board. The closer the guesses are to the target, the more points you earn. Since everyone imagines colors differently, connecting colors and clues has never been this much fun!
